Vitamin D and tuberculosis: Is a change in Public Heath Policy needed?
Abstract
The WHO reported 9.4 million incident cases of Tuberculosis (TB) / Phthisis

new threats of MDR-TB and XDR-TB over the last decade have resulted in an
increase in immigrant screening in Western countries and a renewed interest
in Vitamin D deficiency and its association with TB.
Keywords
TB; Vitamin D; MDR-TB; XDR-TB.
