Abstract

Penetrating chest trauma may be associated by massive hemothorax. Exploratory Thoracotomy is the standard of care. In exceptional cases minimally invasive approach can be life saving. We report a case where this approach was chosen primarily. Right IMA injury was the cause of bleeding into the right pleural cavity.
