Abstract

Abstract: Gossypiboma or textilloma are terms which are used for the retained cotton gauzes during operative procedures inside body. It causes inflammatory reaction and may lead to abscess formation, infection or may present as mass. We are reporting case of 18 years old girl who was diagnosed as left Mediastinal mass operated for PDA ligation 16 years back and remained asymptomatic.
