Abstract

The immense diversity of lung diseases shown in the accompanying figure used for undergraduate teaching, is one of the attractions of respiratory medicine for most chest physicians. However the symptoms associated with those diseases are equally diverse whether cough, shortness of breath, snoring or fever.
