Abstract

Asthma in pediatric patients presents a mounting concern within healthcare systems globally. This chronic respiratory condition affects millions of children worldwide, with its prevalence steadily increasing in recent years. The complexities of managing asthma in children stem from various factors, including environmental triggers, genetic predispositions, and socioeconomic disparities. Moreover, the impact of asthma on pediatric patients extends beyond physical health, affecting their academic performance, social interactions, and overall quality of life. Addressing this growing concern requires a multifaceted approach, encompassing early detection, personalized treatment plans, patient education, and ongoing monitoring to effectively manage symptoms and reduce the risk of exacerbations. By recognizing the unique challenges associated with pediatric asthma and implementing targeted interventions, healthcare professionals can strive to improve outcomes and enhance the well-being of children affected by this chronic respiratory condition.
